Talk about redeeming yourself. Nick Green just hit a two-run home run that cleared the Monster seats and landed somewhere on Lansdowne Street -- or the parking garage across from the ballpark.
(Now you know why they call it the Green Monster.)
(Yes, that joke was inevitable.)
(It's better than making an Earth Day joke, isn't it?)
It was the shortstop's first big-league home run since 2006; he hit 12 home runs in 431 at-bats with Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes-Barre last season.
